The guided farm tour is an educational program that takes participants on a tour of a working farm. During the tour, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the daily care and management of a variety of farm animals such as pigs, cattle, goats, and chickens. They will also learn about the planting and harvesting of crops in the vegetable gardens, fruit orchards, and herb gardens. The tour guide will provide information about the different breeds of animals, their behaviors and characteristics, and the importance of animal welfare. Additionally, participants will learn about sustainable farming practices, the use of crop rotation, and the importance of protecting natural resources. The tour will be interactive, allowing participants to ask questions and engage with the farm animals and crops. It is a great way for participants to learn about food production process and to gain a deeper understanding of the natural world. The tour is suitable for both children and adults and is a great way to connect with nature and learn about the importance of preserving it for future generations. Please dress for the weather and wear closed toe shoes. Tour lasts approximately 1 hour. Suggested Donation $10 per person.
